The fabric food comes with its challenges. Each food item has a different series of folds. "That's what makes it look so real in the container—the color of the fabric and the folded shapes," [Nana] says.
In fact there's quite a bit of research that goes into making each item. Most of it is done at the grocery store. [Nana] hangs out at the local supermarket, studying shapes and textures in the bakery and on the packaged dessert aisle.
